What prompts me to write my squashing view in todays’ blog post is because I'm not happy!

When you judge somebody, are you judging them based on their beliefs, the color of their skin or for their actions? Well, definitely based on their actions of course!

Recently, a Youtube video went viral on Facebook and Twitter! I'm sure you came across this too. The one about the kid which they claimed was a Caucasian being physically and mentally drained by Chinese strangers in China and no one was there to help the poor boy, remember? I have no idea when this happened and what was the cause about that made 2 men to hurt the boy.

God, if I was there I would help the kid and shoo away those bastards. I wonder if this is how a Chinese community there is suppose to be? Maybe it's just the way how "some" Chinese in China think and act or perhaps maybe seeing a poor kid being bullied on the street is a fun thing to do? I may not be in the position to make judgements but then, like wisdom, compassion is uniquely human quality. FOR THOSE WHO WERE THERE WITNESSING THE ACT, WHERE IS THE SENSE OF COMPASSION?!??

Recently, I placed a URL of the video (before it was removed) on my Facebook page and in all, I received well almost "80 Likes" and "33 comments" -- condemning the act, calling it barbaric and inhuman. Thank you for the support of humanity!

So there must be something wrong with the people there, no?

IS CHINA A SAFE PLACE SINCE HUMAN RIGHT SEEMS TO BE DISREGARDED IN THE COUNTRY?

To be really honest, I am never a fan of kids myself. Well, not really ‘hating’ on kids. I just have no interest in them. Present me with a few glasses of champagne, varieties of good food, or anything along those lines. I am so sure that really interest me a lot.

I’ve heard of outsiders interfering when a parent punishes a child by beating or screaming in public, but whatever the cause is, can anyone tell me what gave us the rights to hit on other person's child as a way of disciplining them?

I do think that most Singaporeans are generally discipline, no doubt that we're well organized as a society, yes we are all family oriented and besides, financially savvy. However, when one is "too" succesful, s/he tend to be a little snob to everyone. They think the world revolves around them that there is a need to hit on other people just to make them feel good about themselves. That's the consequence brought about by our selfish nature inside of all of us.

Most kids have a habit of being mischievous blah blah blah and like any other children; they would never DELIBERATELY hit anyone to harm them. What can you expect from a toddler, excuse me? I’m guessing whoever have an intention to hit on another person's child either has a deprived impulse control or has a terrible anger management problems. Just saying….. Who would have thought?

We've all had to deal with crying kids on public buses, trains, in shopping malls and even clinics. And we've all express sympathy with the parents and dealt with it. The high-pitched screaming child might be irritating at times, however, as a grown-up human being with smart brain, we practice limitation and self-discipline. Even though I may not know the actual cause of the incident that happened in the video, hitting someone else's child is way beyond discipline. It's assault.

Yes, this is an example of a typical case of Child Abuse!

I am certain that no one has the right to take it upon themselves to teach another person’s kid. There are situations when it’s appropriate and necessary to set certain limitations for other toddlers. If they’re really in the risk of injuring another individual then it’s completely fine to voice up. Without any doubt, what the assailant did was too much and uncalled for indeed.

I felt sorry for the poor boy. =(((

Get Bored of Being Nice to People

I get really tired of being around people who are really mean for no reason at all. I always tell myself that doing good things for others really makes me feel better. Maybe it is part of my character that has been blessed to me by God. But I was completely wrong!

But of course, I will defend myself if I'm being wronged. Everyone does.

Alot of people assumed I have alot of friends by my side who will support me for who I am. I don't feel like I'm superior having many friends around me though. I don't have this feeling that they are the ones that are going to protect me when I get bullied outside. To be really honest, I simply had to put some of them outta my life because they always bring me down all the time. That's upsetting. How would you describe this? Two-faced?

Blame those people who keeps manipulating our mind and controlling our action. Just because you don't like person A, you go around and say bad things about that person and expect us to HATE him or her as well. People like this, I HATE THEM! I'd rather see it with my own eyes, hear it from my own ears. Find out the truth first before you say anything!

2012 is nearing and I got no time to Hate people coz it's so childish. I'm old enough.

On a side note, you were always told not to be bitchy and too nice to anyone. If you were in my shoes, what are you going to do?

STOP WITH THAT "You're So Gay" TERM

I overheard a conversation between two boys the other day and that bloody hell replied "Oh, you're so gay" to his gay friend. Whenever he ask for an opinion, that bloody turd replied the same thing "Man, you're so gay!".

Correct me if I'm wrong, "You're so gay" (not homosexual gay) in his context means "You're so lame/retarded"?? Is that right?

But what the hellllll....

Don't people know the effing derogatory term "You're so gay" is offensive? Well, maybe it's not a big deal to people like you but if you are going to use it at someone who is a gay in public, you jolly well slit your throat! Worse, if you are going to use that at ME, I'll curse you. I will because everything has a limit to it.

You're just making other people think you are gay. That's not nice. Some gays accept it but some, for some personal reasons don't. We have to understand the feeling of others okay. So for that, I really urge you to be really careful with the word you use. WORDS ARE REALLY POWERFUL! Gay people are protected class and who are we to judge them. Am I wrong to say this?

Gosh, where the heck the term originated from? Oh, it must the Americans. It must be them. The slangs and everything.

It's only been 5 months since I last updated this poor little blog of mine but it feels like a decade!!! I'm not happy because I don't get the attention like before. Okay, I do get some but no more of "Omg it's Fauzi Rassull!" or "Hey Fauzi Rassull, I fucking love your blog" here and there anymore . It's like the Fauzi Bieber had passed on and it's really sad. Perhaps because I'm getting fatter now and no one cares about my life anymore. Okay I'm kidding. Not that I'm craving for it but I just miss the joy I had when I get to meet celebrities (MTV VJ Utt, Actress Joanne Peh, Miss Singapore Universe Rachel Kum just to name a few), pose for the cameras, get invited to exclusive big events and etcetera.

Oh! Did you know I was awarded The Coolest Gossip blog for year 2010 winning all-time favourite blogs such as Celeste Chen, Xiaxue and even Dawn Yang?? Hahahahaha! Not bragging but excuse yoouu, this is my achievement. The reason why I am one of the Top Bloggers in Singapore hokay =)

Anyhooo... I've been away doing my own stuff and been having my own private life for the record. To be honest, I am really happy because for the past few months, I've been building a healthy relationship with my loved one. I didn't know how to juggle my time. You know blogging and managing a relationship at the same time. I could't do both because I'm suck at it.

You know it's definitely hard for me to decide what I want in life. I am talking about The Male-to-Female Path (Trans-sexuality). I have some friends who are pretty supportive of me. Sadly, there are few very close minded people who won’t accept me being like this. Yes, people from my camp!!! I get insults. I get sarcastic remarks most of the time. Someone needs to do something about this and I am on my own fighting for my rights over there! =’( It's pretty upsetting of course. Well, this is the path I want and whatever it is, RESPECT!

It really annoys me with how some Singaporeans treat transsexual (Gay and even Lesbians) individuals! So much for being a well-developed country! So much for being well-educated! So much for everything! There’s always prejudice! There’s always verbal and physical abuse! Is the world still so uncivilized and unsafe? Well, I guess selfishness and self-importance go hand in hand together and if that's what being a true Singaporean really means, SHAME ON YOU!!! Go ahead and laugh, make your jokes and jeer at me for having the guts to post this up!

When i was 18, still a teenager, I started to look into the internet and I found out a lot of what i didn’t know. You know I was never alone in this world why i felt like a female all my life and why I love dolling up myself. I’ve started the hormone replacement therapy few years back and I didn't want to tell anyone aside from close friends. But the changes are noticeable during the transition period. Breast tissues began to develop and I no longer able to hide myself. I had no choice but to tell my mom about it and she was neutral. To be really honest, as a newbie in this ‘’world”, it’s hard for me to adapt with the changes as I’m not used to it. Discrimination is one thing. I have been having terrible mood swings and emotional stress (side effects from hormone replacement therapy) as of lately and it’s killing me! Gosh, it can get worse!

A lot of people knew me as Fauzi Rassull the male bitch blogger who created a lot of online spats via his blog before and blah blah blah. And it's certainly scary if my fans got to know of the "new me" particularly those from my family members. This is the reason why I've been staying away from the blogging world for such a long time and hiding myself away from those attentions because I'm just too afraid. Well, not anymore!

On a side note, PEOPLE NEED TO EDUCATE THEMSEVLES AND BE OPEN!!

What does it feels like when your Facebook Account got hacked by an unknown ''internet terrorist''.

It was so unfortunate that a hacker was able to gain control of my precious online shrine - my one and only Facebook!! But one thing is for sure, I am lucky in a way to report the matter immediately. I have contacted Facebook administrator and just in time, they have LOCKED that account so that the particular bugger could not proceed further using my Facebook account. Yeah, the hacker was able to log into it, changed the email (for logging in), password and etcetera. But better luck next time.

With that being said, I have lost mostly all of my wonderful people whom I have been connecting with eversince I was away from the blogging world. I chose not to blog back then. I chose to hide myself from connecting with the badasses online. They were so evil. I chose to ignore their stupid remarks about me. And this is what I got. RETRIBUTION.

But hey, it's not the end of me yet. Trust me. For I, am Singapore's Only Male Bitch <3

When you judge a person, are you judging them based on their beliefs or for their actions? Whether we like it or not, we all judge one another.

However, I'm tired of being judged based on my religious belief because of my sexuality. What the hell is wrong with you Singaporeans! Are we not multi-racial, multi-religious, multi-cultural or even multi-sexual enough??!! Judging somebody by their religious preferences is the same as racism. It's like you are judging a person by what they believe in rather than the colour of their skin but it's almost the same thing. It tell us that we are Racist! Judgments have to be based on who the individual is and definitely based not their religious affiliations!! Don't you think the whole "intention to keep Singapore a safe and a harmonious society " pointless??

It is only when all of you stupid Singaporeans learn to accept everyone for who they are that we can mature as a culture. Being a young Singaporean like myself who will be turning 22 in a few months and for someone who does not have a hostile attitude towards homosexual, I believe it is necessary for everyone including the black sheeps to have a great understanding of diversity and to know that every person is “multi-layered”. Just like you and me, we are defined by more than just our sexuality alone. Understand?

Oh well. I wonder if this is how a community is suppose to be? Oh come on, it's already 2011 ya. Maybe it's just the way how most Singaporeans think.

Looks like people are worry about the 'pretty boy' trend here! Why is it that Singaporeans have issues after issues even if it doesn’t concern them?

Stereotyping is a sensitive issue in today's society not just in conservative Singapore in particular but also elsewhere. It literally exists in all shapes, forms and sizes. There are who are intolerant of other cultures. There are who practices double standards. Meaning, whatever a gender does, the opposite gender must NOT do (eg: makeup is not for boys etc. etc.). By the way, when was it ruled that makeup is only for girls?

Few months ago, I was featured in a malay tabloid for being a ''prettyboy'', remember?

You shouldn’t really care if a boy put on makeup.

You shouldn’t really care if a boy is so gay.

You shouldn’t really care with whatever a boy wears.

If girls can put on makeup, why not the boys? Most of us have this cliché way of belief that if a guy put on their freaking makeup, they are deemed to be gay. This is not the case. Everybody can do whatever they wish. One thing doesn't inevitably have to be related with the other. Get it?

What happened to liberty and individuality? If you hate it then don't even bother talking with that person. Can Singaporeans PLEASE BE LESS JUDGEMENTAL and for the life of god, MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS.

I understand the society sees makeup on guys as too girlie; however, I beg to differ. Don’t you think he would be an excellent partner knowing that he bothers about his looks? Yeah, this is not always being the case but you know what, I would somewhat spend the evening out with a pretty looking person who is wearing makeup, than have a night out with….. you know what I mean.

Frankly, I would murder anyone who is capable to give me a reasonable response to why guys shouldn't be wearing makeup. Rather, they just harass me with persistent criticism, by calling me a "pretty boy". Not boasting but people such as the ‘’pretty boys” are the beautiful human beings on earth as they give a bloody damn about how they look on the outside, but then again, what makes you think they can't be straight?

THE MORE YOU HATE IT, THE MORE I'M GONNA FLOOD BIG-ASS SIZED PHOTOS OF ME WITH MAKEUP HERE!

I don't get it what is so disgraceful about a boy in makeup nowadays. If it still annoys you, then clearly there's something not right since we have been disrespected in so many interesting ways. On the other hand, if it still makes you feel lack of self-confidence till you have an intention to cause pain or harm, then there is a necessary to fight against out there.

We are seeing more and more people with such a behaviour in our country and it's pretty saddening. As successful the country gets, the more disrespectful our people are becoming. Respect, peace, love and accepting people that is different and at the same time, learn from those differences. Ramadan, is a Muslim celebration that is held in the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. The fasting period takes place during this month leading up to Hari Raya and it is compulsory for Muslims to fast from dawn to dusk. All Muslims excluding the young, old and those with poor health are definitely encouraged to fast of course. However, they are refrain from desires such as smoking cigarettes, sexual activities and eating to name a few during the daytime of the fasting month. Not as easy as you have thought eh?

When the sound of ‘Azan’ is played on radio, Muslims break their fast with a huge serving of food also known as iftar in Malay, typically eaten together with family and friends either at home or at bazaars which are put up specially for Ramadan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

So I had a chance to experience Buka Puasa fully (well, almost) with two of my friends over at Tong Seng Coffeeshop last Saturday and guess what, it was pretty amazing to see many Muslims gather together waiting to have their meal. I love it =)

Racist NightClubs in Singapore

Everyone have their basic rights and freedoms that we are guaranteed of -- the right to life and liberty, freedom of thought and expression. When I look at freedom of speech, I see it as a natural right. So you ought to be pleased that somebody here is speaking out about the unconcealed discrimination that majority nightlife district along the Singapore Rivers are displaying these days! I hope you have heard about my dear friend, Marla Bendini’s incident where she was verbally thrown out of China One twice before for the fact that she is a transgender lady.

As a multi-ethnic and a diverse society, Singapore is often recognized with the "gateway between the East and West". Nonetheless, we must never forget our roots before we became what we are today.

What prompts me to write my squashing view in todays’ blog post is due to the recent event when a group of my fans were denied entry from this club, Rebel to be certain, has led me to re-evaluate its reputation as a "coolest nightclub" in Singapore. Perhaps, Rebel still fantasizes to be the coolest club or maybe it is by virtue of its stylish young crowd I guess. Oh, we are not letting SupperClub and Arena off as well. They both also received a bad review from my fans recently. Assholes!
To some extent, these clubs screams utter shamelessness. While the Chinese (including the Ah Bengs!) and their usual V.I.Ps grinding furiously away on the small dance floor, distinctively Malay crowds (you know the type) were refused from entering the club even if they aren’t those troublemakers. Why?? The only thing that will resonate with them is loss of patrons as well as revenues. Correct me if I am wrong, from what I realize, Malay customers are the ones that generally spend a lot in most clubs. What's so ironic are the securities and directors themselves who are stereotyping against Malays. They are not ugly people.

For god sake, please drop the attitude as it doesn't really make the club respectable nor does it amaze the annoying girls begging for free entry in the VIP queue really. We do need an explanation for this…..

I wasn't going to bother giving much attention on today’s post if it wasn’t because of my fans. I felt it’s about time we put an end to racism in Singapore!

I understand not many of us care about Singapore's history hoo-haa shits but let me tell you this, history is not simply a thing of the past, and that racial riot on 21 July 1964 will always be a lesson for all of us and educate us the importance and significance of Racial Harmony. Stereotyping has been a very controversy topic of conversation not just in conservative Singapore in particular but also elsewhere. It literally exists in all shapes, forms and sizes. Unfortunately, we have people who are intolerant of other cultures. And then we also have people who practice double standards here.

I am still unclear why a number of Singaporeans, specifically the local Chinese, give such a negative opinion towards our fellow Singaporeans of another race although I must say that the manner of racism is not that life-threatening. And I dare say this based from my understanding. It’s totally biased to think of certain race as being lazy, more unpatriotic, more likely to cause social crisis. Before somebody thinks badly of other races here, those bigots should ensure that they have the characteristic of being respected for having good character first.

We as individuals are not capable of comparison. Why should people have to be of a certain standard? I wonder if this is how a community is supposed to be.

Like you, I don't trust movie critics that much as it's their personal point of view that can differ from yours! Sometimes, what they tell you are bullshits and never always true.

You're probably be wondering what's in cinema awaiting you this early September eventhough we are still in the month of July. Hehe. Could it be another romance, action and more action movies coming up. Hmmmm. It bores the hell out of us to be paying so much on all these genres everytime, right? So we are hoping for a change that there will be lesser kissing scenes this time.
So, soaring in theatres this 2nd September, do lookout for a haunting ''adventure'' which will terrify and freak you out I swear. =p

Great to Be Back!

Time zoomed by real fast, and even though I hadn't been away from my blog, I hardly post much these days as compared to my previous several-entries-a-day record due to National Service.

What was supposed to be a little hiatus took a turn and I tried to change myself for the better or for the worse. I had become more wise to whom I befriend with. Besides, the recent sudden deaths of some people in the news, made me ponder if this blog will be what's left of me when it's my turn to pass on.

But then again, how long will a non-updated blog last before it completely expires by default? And by then, probably no one will bother anyway.

I had not been shopping for weeks already, and had steered away from alcohol for just as long. I had also stopped going home late altogether, and skipped all the movies in the cinemas. Among the stuff in my super long to-do list are counting down the days when my boyfriend will be back from Perth, vacations, barbeques and etcetera etcetera.

Increase Vigilance Against Cervical Cancer

This is brilliant news for all women across Singapore!

Well I think it is true that here in Singapore, not most of us are aware of the possibilities of contracting cervical cancer. Although the exact cause of cervical cancer is not known, nevertheless, there are a few things that can actually increase the chance of contracting the disease. Like what?? To be honest, women who smoke and those who have sex with numerous partners are considered a risk factor for cervical cancer as it increases the likelihoods of contracting genital warts.

Any women would feel confused and scared from time to time when receiving a call from their specialist saying that their pap smear came back irregular and that they will have to be tested for cervical cancer, not knowing if this is somewhat that can be fixed or something that can end up to be untreatable.
I believe it is necessary for me, as one of the top male blogger and for all of us, to have a greater understanding what cervical cancer is all about and to know the impact it has on the lives of the females we care about. I'm writing this to help raise awareness for the only vaccine-preventable cancer for a number of individuals collectively women, who usually receives little attention in prevention initiatives. At the same time, does my part to guarantee all women out there are aware and further understand of the most dreaded deadly female killer (that's Cervical Cancer to you). Therefore, the most effective means of undertaking cervical cancer is through prevention.

I do not have to be a woman to learn about the disease! It's because I care and I want to help save as many women as possible from the disease!!

Sadly, anywhere in the world a woman dies of this cancer in every two minutes. Did you know that cervical cancer is one of the common diseases affecting and generally found in younger women today in Singapore?

It is so vital that you as women take huge care of your body. Not only are cervical cancers affecting you, but likewise breast cancer as well. It is important that you get regular medical examinations and examine your bodies closely. If you feel any extreme changes in your body then you ought to refer to your doctor fast. It's that easy!
That’s where POCC exists! Power Over Cervical Cancer is a movement by The Society for Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology of Singapore to reduce cervical cancer rates in the country. Working with numerous support groups, activities are planned to educate and to raise the awareness of cervical cancer and that it can be detected early with regular pap smear test and prevented with vaccination.

What do you love about Singapore?

Singapore is one of the most wonderful places in the world to go on a holiday with unbelievable tourist attractions. With its friendly and gracious people, high-tech buildings everywhere and fresh happening day after day, I am confident my foreign friend stay will be an unforgettable mix-and-match of all the stuff that s/he has always planned to do

What I love about my country is the city itself. Singapore is a melting pot of cultures where the society assimilates and adopts the standard of a new adopted society and at the same time, contributes something along the way. Singapore has also retained their traditions in a contemporary surrounding. Traditional festivals and cultures are very much active here in spite of the IT savvy culture and up to date environment. Typically, there is one festival or gala every week or two. Interesting, eh?

As we all already know, Singapore is a city of arts, traditions and museum. The durian-shaped Esplanade which stands out in front of the Marina Square area has made Singapore into a ruler city in Asia for arts and theatre acts. Our Museum may not have the gems like that of the Louvre Museum but with its wide collection and informative exhibit alone is enough to give a better introduction into the past and out of the ordinary cultures of Asia.

If I’m given the chance to plan a perfect 1-day itinerary for a foreign friend, I know where to bring them to! Singapore is certainly a shopping paradise because shopping is like an obsession in this small country. There is always something for everyone, no?

I’m so sexcited to introduce that foreign friend of mine about the newly opened ION Orchard so that we could have some shopping in the day and dinner in the night! All kinds of things right from luxury brands, international brands, popular high street fashion, and watches to jewelleries from around the world are available there. We could also take pictures of the wonderful structural design of ION as well.

WAIT! So where shall I bring my friend to IF there is another similar flood at Orchard?? Just saying......

Anyways.............. there are well over 20,000 eating-places in a tiny country. Besides a varied local cuisine, we also have international cuisines over here too! Like they say, Singapore is the heaven of eating! I am kiddin you................... NOT!!

Lau Pa Sat would be my preferred eating spot. I don't know about you but I think Lau Pa Sat basically holds relatively a lot of historical value in it. In case you missed the details, Lau Pa Sat was known as a wet market back then before it was transformed and thereafter, it became the country’s most-desired eating spot among the locals and foreigners alike.

Lau Pa Sat is similar to the open marketplace in a lively Asian capital that offers a numerous of selections that attract hundreds of visitors everyday and night. It’s always occupied and frequently busy, but correct me if I’m wrong; peak period is more or less at 11. The continuous noise can deafen the ears and you will realise the customer-service become slightly sharper.

So Much for Smoking Kills

Well I guess self-centeredness and self-importance go hand in hand with being young so go ahead and laugh, make your jokes and jeer at me for having the guts to post this up!

So much for smoking kills. So much for anti-smoking campaigns and several advertisements plastered everywhere, even on cigarette boxes. In spite of all these efforts, these smokers continue to smoke and thus, we shall let them die.

In light of this, what are the likelihoods that sponsored anti-smoking campaigns can succeed! Take the recent "Great Audio Experience' event which was held last Saturday (29th June) in support of World No Tobacco Day 2010. How many of us literally stop smoking already??
Today we're more conscious about how bad smoking is for our health and well-being. If smoking kills, in other words, if it kills other individuals and the smokers themselves, then this may raise interesting questions to us. If you think I’m harming someone else by smoking, which means to say, a smoking ban inside public facilities is certainly not adequate.

Singapore should start banning smoking altogether or the life of others maybe at risks. Even at an open-air cafe where you are sitting at, your burning ciggy stick could possibly stain the lungs of some unsuspecting innocent nearby. That’s when second-hand smokers exist.

With that being said, wanting a ban on smoking in open areas isn't about removing away a smoker's rights. They will still have their right to smoke in their own space. Nevertheless, the right to slowly and intentionally harm others was no way theirs to start with.

Yes, smoking is an individual right. Just fuck it, a smoker should not affect the health of others.

Has anyone been through a situation whereby a friend of yours simply do not reply to your text messages no matter how many times you sent him/her?It's kinda annoying to the extend of pissing you off.
What's the purpose of having a mobile phone when you don't even know how to reply a simple "YES" or a "NO"!

If we were to use basic animal psychology term, why not use basic animal psychology.

When you chase a dog, it runs from you.
When you walk away from a dog, it follows you.

Good or Bad

Sometimes I just really wonder if I'm a good or bad person.
- What actually makes a good person?
- If you do bad things for a good reason, what does that make you?
- When you say good things to someone, for the reason of not hurting him/her, even though you really think badly of them, what does that make you?
- When you help everyone, every day of your life, not for the sake of helping them but just to show off that you are "good", does that really make you good?
-Who can actually judge us? Is there some kind of written law to this?

When I close my eyes to pray at night, I know I am a good person, because I know which things to be grateful of and which things to ask forgiveness for. At times, I even think I'm the kindest person I know. But when I truly open my eyes, the "kindness" that I thought I have, has it limitations. Imagine I see an old man selling tissue packets for a dollar and I only have $3 which is just enough for a cheese prata. I would hesitate to buy those tissues for a moment. But of course in the end, the selfless side of me would win. Maybe I might feel too embarassed to myself, if not to the people who were surrounding me, to not buy them. And this is what I'm talking about. I did a good thing there, but for a moment I was thinking "I should not have bought these stupid tissue packets, now I can't eat cheese prata!" But I still did a good thing, didn't I?

Who would have thought?

That's right! Similar to Channel U's Project Superstar singing competition, Music Story does have their annual talent contest in case you didn't now. Organized by Music Story, called "SING OUT!” it offers wonderful opportunities as well as a platform for new aspiring singers to participate and at the same time, enabling them to gain exposure. Unfortunately, the application for this has already closed I heard. Too bad! =(

I have no intentions of being mean but then the not so skinny ones doesn't have to worry of being stuck in a squeezy performing area because the studio is really quite spacious. Just so you know, Music Story has a courtyard PLUS a performing studio that can seat well over 60 talented students to perform at. Good enough?

Nice! The students seem to be well-behaved while our dear vocal coach is teaching.

Major cuteness! His students are all good-looking indeed!

Shame On You, SIngaporeans!

When you judge somebody, are you judging them based on their beliefs or for their actions? Whether we like it or not, we all judge one another.

However, I'm tired of being judged based on my religious belief because of my sexuality. What the hell is wrong with you Singaporeans! We are a multi-racial, multi-religious, multi-cultural and a multi-sexual country as we all know. Judging somebody by their religious preferences is the same as racism. It's like you are judging somebody by what they believe in rather than the colour of their skin but it's almost the same thing. It tell us that we are Racist! Don't you think the whole "intention to keep Singapore a safe and a harmonious society " pointless?

It is only when Singaporeans learn to accept everyone for who they are that we can mature as a culture. Being a young Singaporean myself, who recently turned 21 and who does not have a hostile attitude towards homosexual, I believe it is necessary for all of us, including the black sheeps to have a great understanding of diversity and to know that every person is “multi-layered”. Just like you and me, we are defined by more than just our sexuality alone.

Oh well. I wonder if this is how a community is suppose to be? Maybe it's just the way how most Singaporeans think.

It may not be a well-planned surprise party where you can make your best friend think the whole world's been struck with memory loss syndrome and completely forgotten their birthday, until 20 or more of her friends jump out from nowhere and surprise you with a birthday song!

I didn't know there's a bakery shop in a mall that allows you
to decorate your own cake! D.I.Y indeed!!

Did you know a surprise can actually lift any kind of celebration to a higher level of joy? In honor of my "21st" birthday, a small group got together to fellowship and eat the whole night. I thought it was just a get together outing and all until I saw a box of cake hidden underneath the table. Hahahahah! Failed plan, eh. Who would have thought?

I love them.....

Afterwhich, we head over to Lau Pa Sat for some satays... Goodness gracious! When was the last time WE had satays? Haha.

I think the highlight of the evening, for me anyway, was singing one of my favourite balad at a KTV! Not bragging but...... I can actually sing okay -- only to this song. Hehehehe. It's already passed mignight and you damn right, the celebration continues.

First thing first, I'm really sorry for my recent blog absent. Not that I was busy. This is life and sometimes in life, you just couldn't be bothered with certain things and all. But hey, you ought to be happy coz I'm back.

I can do a lot of things on Facebook besides connecting with my fans, friends and even detractors. The best part is when you know how to use it for a good cause. For an example, get everyone to pen down their point of views on the topic discussion which I randomly come out with through the status box. It doesn't really matter alot to me if some of the comments are negative because it's a general discussion and yes, I accept all comments with an open mind.

For those who haven't been following me, it's okay. You better should next time. =)

How important is sex to you in a relationship?

Guys normally do have higher sex drive and correct me if I'm wrong, guy wants sex to relieve stress while the women, on the other hand, thinks that sex is the glue that keeps a couple together or maybe we have sex out of pure desire for the person we love. However, if you were to ask me, SEX doesn't make up the relationship in anyway. You can have a real relationship without having sex. What's more important than sex to me is definitely love and respect for each other. There are so many things out there you could do in order to have a complete life other than thinking sex is the only answer that is going to give it to you. NO! Sex does not complete either a relationship or the life of a person.

So what if people think you're a true Christian? The world you're living in is filled with society (calling you to join in the crowd) who really brainwashed people to think that, you're a wimp if you don't have sex! Kill them.

So the event started of with a red carpet (OSCAR much?). As we all know, I was late! The reason why there weren't photos of me at the red carpet. =( Hahaha...

But the good thing was, I WON for "The Coolest Blogger I Wanna Gossip With XOXO" Category beating "Singapore's very own Top Blogger" Xiaxue? If you think there's nothing to be proud, well you're wrong! If my memory serves me right, there isn't any blogger here that beat Xiaxue by votes except for meh knowing that we have Dawn Yang, Celeste Chen, Xiaxue, and Kay Kay whom were nominated under the same category. Hahaha.

I maybe a little late to make a New Year entry. I have been so busy with many things on my plate. Plus, my laptop crashed and it took forever to get it repaired. =( Anyways, may I take this opportunity to wish my fans of this wonderful column a peaceful and a Happy 2010?

As we begin of the New Year, many of us will have hopes, dreams and new goals. We often look at the New Year with fresh hope, many hoping it will be better than last year in whatever ways we desire.
New Year's Eve has always been a time for looking back to the past as we all already know. It's a time to ask ourselves on the changes we need to make and resolve to follow through on those changes which I definitely did! All I could say is, I really enjoyed my 2009 alot with no regrets at all. I've met so many wonderful people around me, got interviewed by reporters from various medias and also, appeared on Yahoo! webpage and newspapers around Asia and many more. Thank you so much for letting my voice be heard. In here is where all of my opinions and views come to light. =)
Since it's 2010, my friend and I thought of producing and making a video of just the two of us slutting over Russian Roulette (a pretty song by Rihanna!) and we hope you watch it with an open mind. You can like it or even hate it. So I really don't bother it that much. Have fun!

Life gets a little depressing when you start getting yourself into financial difficulty.

I totally believe the power of blogging! We keep saying that blogging is the next big thing. Well "blogging" is already the next BIG thing in case you didn't know and it already conquers the biggest portions in the media and has broken major news headlines.

Blogging is a personal log of thoughts published on a Web page for certain other individuals. Nearly everyone have the desire to make a profit out of blogging. Others might want to share their ideas to the masses. Some might just use blog as a platform to satisfy their natural need of expression which is true. Blogs are there for us to express our thoughts. Blogs are there for everyone to speak out and inspire us to raise our consciousness. There are various reasons why many people publish.

One of the reasons why I publish today is because I want to share with you how Krrunch-ing Pringles crispy chips can ignite my playful spirits, such that I can turn a BORING situation into a PLAYFUL one with all of you whenever I am at home. Sound interesting, huh!! Who would have thought?

If you're here to look for ways to occupy yourself, have ample of free time on your hands and you don't have any thought what to do with it, great! I have a few ways to fight boredom, and make the time go by a little quicker... It works!

You're lucky I'm in a Krrunch mode today!! Haha!

I have found Pringles tin can are the ideal size container for making gifts. Since Christmas is in 2 months time, you might want to prepare special hand-made gifts for your loved ones in a cheap way. As we all know, DIY is an awesome option if you have no money to buy gifts and if you love unique stuff. You can't afford to get expensive chocolates or even clothes for everyone. Duh!

Here is a tutorial on how to make a bangle out of Pringles Cans! For this, you definitely need empty Pringles cans, a glue, scissors, a few sheets of tissue (as padding) and of course, some black ribbons which I'm sure we have them in our homes!

It's not that hard.. really. You just need patience =)

And to give the bangle a sparkling look, glue some diamante on it!!!!! I love it.

Tadah. There you have it.

I also made a few other cute Christmas gifts out of Pringles cans -- Santa Claus and Elf to name a few!

I hope you find them easy to make as I do.

Well I think it is true that here in Singapore, not most of us are conscious of the possibilities of contracting HIV/Aids from unprotected sex or even sharing of needles. Needless to say, a number of Singaporeans (teenagers in general) don't really seem to show much interest.

I'm writing this to help spread safe sex awareness for a number of individuals collectively who usually receives little attention in prevention initiatives. At the same time, do my parts to ensure that youth are aware and further understand of the most widely spread fatal viral disease (that's HIV/Aids to you).

WHY NOT WE HELP SPREAD HIV/AIDS AWARENESS?

This is for a good cause. =)

It has been 9 months since we celebrated the many lives saved by HIV prevention programs! But hey, the support still continues. We all know awareness like this has become almost a cliché. Being cliché, however, isn't always a bad thing. If we have the cure for HIV/Aids, of course there's no need for Aids prevention campaigns running here and there.

Looks like I have to do what I have to do as a blogger
and I really need your help too.

No, I'm not trying to interfere with what you do behind closed doors (trust me, I don't even care) but like any other people out there, I'm just being concerned with the public apathy towards this matter.

I urge you to think again before having unprotected sex. Use condoms. It's that simple.

(Of course unprotected sex is not the only cause for HIV.)

Even if you are not in such a situation, you can still show some interest to the above concern.

HOW?
In this case, watch documentaries! Watch clips about people diagnosed with HIV/Aids! I bet there are many of them hidden somewhere on youtube. Trust me; this is a good start in understanding more about the disease as mentioned.

On that note, all you need to have is a little preventative measure and increase vigilance against the HIV/Aids virus. And again, I urge all youth to hear me!

My ideal beauty queen must not only be a role model for young women but also someone who is passionate, courageous, entertaining and aware of the suffering of others and hoping to do something about it. What's more, to support various charitable causes and make a difference!

Besides, I feel that a beauty pageant should be one that is able to encourage all women to better their life, by depicting that a woman can be attractive and beautiful without having the need to look 'sensuous', and that through such pageant they should better the significance of women's contribution to the general public in many good ways. Therefore, beauty companies can take this chance to express that beauty relates with good health and there are many ways women can go about accomplishing them.

Is physical attractiveness that important?

Many of us look at pageants just as a beauty contests by itself while for some, we see it as a public display to start making an impact on the society. The term 'beauty' is very subjective though. It’s somewhat shallow to hold such pageants to compare women of their cleverness and be judged on having perfect boobs and legs when we know, these factors are not meant to be judged in any way. It's degrading!

To be honest, many women enter pageant contests for the glamour of it and think if they win; it would make a great road to fame. However, if a woman holds a title of a beauty queen, it provides her an opportunity to make use of her fame to promote good work and helping out with the society to name a few. Furthermore, it also helps them in some other positive ways as well. The title will certainly make it easier for some of these girls to achieve what they want to achieve for the good of the community if they are already successful and capable.

There are people who think beauty pageants have totally no positive impact on the society. There are some of us who feels that beauty pageants are simply an expression of the current trend of beauty and lack of depth of knowledge.

What message are we giving our young girls when parading these women in different attires and grading every part of their body? Beauty is so much more than skin deep. Oh well, maybe it’s about time our society start realising that.

We've had our very own Miss Singapore Universe over the years. What have these beauty queens accomplished so far? How many of them end up contributing to the society? How genuine are they in doing charity work????

That’s what we want to know!

For the Western food lovers, this is for you.....

Have you ever felt like enjoying the wide array of delicious western food without the need to spend so much at expensive restaurant near you?

In case you don't know, we have SWENSEN'S here everywhere which has an interesting lineup of good food, soups and even salads as well as sweet treats. For example, Pastas, Jumbo Franks Burgers, Pizzas and Baked Rice to even Steaks are just a few dishes on the restaurant’s eclectic menu -- sounds like a fantastic dish, just nice to fill your rumbling tummy. Hah! Agreed?
SWENSEN'S, is a restaurant that offers many awesome foods to please and amaze the palate of locals like myself of course, and also, visitors alike.

Believe it or not, it was my 4th time (if my memory serves me right) there. IN MY LIFE! =/

It's hard to get me excited for I am not a food person in any way, but quite without exaggeration, SWENSEN'S is currently my favourite eating spot -- the food looks exquisite and don't even get me started on the Ribeye Steak! Awesome!

So let's get to the point, shall we? This is our brunch spread that day........

Black Pepper Seafood Pasta
Quite superb for its intense flavours was the Seafood Pasta with a hint of black pepper sauce and topped with a scatter of seafood clams which can silence an entire table of diners! The aroma of the pasta was awesome. Those clams were really chewy to the bite.

If I may, I would rate it: 4/5

Side Menu: Calamaris!
Meanwhile, we had a side menu! More calamaris and some others (with tar tar cream for dipping) that were fried beautifully. Oh my!!!

If I may, I would rate it: 3/5

Barberque Half Chicken
On a lighter note, the bbq half chicken will win adoration of meat lovers with their sheer juiciness and bbq aroma. Simple yet it tasted spectacular!

This is a dish that you could eat almost on its own or with just steamed rice.

If I may, I would rate it: 4/5

Ignore the sweet child behind me. My little brother! So cute. =)

What do you have to say?
It was indeed a pleasant and a nice dining experience. I wouldn't hesitate to settle down for lunch with my friends or return soon to give a try on their other dishes. Believe me, I will be spoilt for choice! Haha! Yes, shopping relaxes our mind indeed. For a change, why not pamper yourself (and bring along your friends) at Swensen's after a hard day's work for good comfort food?

"... I'm really tired of people talking like they know anything about me. Was I wrong to post some shit about Xiaxue? Perhaps, but only in the sense that it's tasteless. The only thing I regret is taking the higher road and attempting to apologize to that bitch. Did I mean it? No, absolutely not. I still think she's a Chinese girl with low self esteem that's trying to look white. Dying your hair is one thing, but making it bleach blonde to the point it's almost white is quite another. Not to mention her blue contacts or ultra pale skin. She looks sickly. And ugly. And after taking the higher road and offering my apology, I was only mocked more. There's a difference between a generalization and me specifically saying "Mike must be ashamed of her, judging by the expression he was making in almost every photo in the post before "my" post." Instead of simply taking Wendy Cheng's less than credible word for it, why don't you judge for yourself what kind of person I am by reading my blog? Not that I want your hits. I'm just tired of seeing my name pop up left and right with unfounded rumors and accusations, like that moron that said they saw me at Bugis at a Burger King. I fucking hate Burger King and I've only been to Bugis 3 times in the last year, and I guarantee the last time was more than 3 months ago. And before you ask, I moved my blog and redid a lot of posts. Not because I'm ashamed of what I wrote, but because I wanted to remove photos and references that might cause me to have morons on my front doorstep, or causing problems for the people I live with or my friends. Anyways, I'm fine if gay man wears it for he is already a gay. However, not on those stereotypical ones who consider it as a sign of being a gentleman with a girl! That's just disgusting! Would you rather endure such humiliation for love?

It's not a big deal for a man to carry stuff (in this case, handbags!) for their girlfriend as far as I'm concern but I just don't like the idea. Girls, you really need to draw a line somewhere by not going too overboard I think -- treating boyfriends as walking hangers and a fool altogether.

I don't see the point of you bringing a handbag if you have the intention to let your boyfriend carry it for you. It leaves me wondering what's inside your bag. Missiles? Frying pans? Toiletries (Shampoos etcetera etcetera)? Cushions or what not? So heavy that we need men to do the unnecessary - to carry them for you.

If you do that, it's like saying your boyfriend is confused satisfying a "p*ssy" which every normal gentleman does. Bwhahahahahaha.

I had an epiphany. Okay, not really since it's not that significant but... traditional? Hah! That's my music. It suddenly became so emphatic. Music is like love. Simultaneously, I realised what and who I want for both. :-)

Have I Make An Impact on Anyone's Live

At times, I feel like I am an island. I stand alone. No, I am not part of an archipelago. I am a coral island, unwillingly thrust into the elements of life. I am not made of neither rock, iron or cool lava. I am in bits and pieces by default. I can last only as long as I can hold myself together. How many storms do I have to face? I really don't know.

Each hurricane weakens the bonds between the bits and each typhoon washes away a few pieces of myself. I was once a paradise but I now lay barren. Each time when I replenish myself, it only gets taken away all too soon.

I feel small, really small. I wonder if I've ever made an impact on anyone's live at all. I really try to give myself but like you, I have my limits too. Not long ago, I realised I'm unable to be destroyed, not invincible. I also learnt that my usual practice of tolerance isn't that healthy. I need to be less democratic and become more selfish. My impression of myself is at an all time low.

Am I A Good or A Bad Person?

Sometimes I just really wonder if I'm a good or bad person.

- What actually makes a good person?

- If you do bad things for a good reason, what does that make you?

- When you say good things to someone, for the reason of not hurting him/her, even though you really think badly of them, what does that make you?

- When you help everyone, every day of your life, not for the sake of helping them but just to show off that you are "good", does that really make you good?

- Who can actually judge us? Is there some kind of written law to this?

When I close my eyes to pray at night, I know I am a good person, because I know which things to be grateful of and which things to ask forgiveness for. At times, I even think I'm the kindest person I know. But when I truly open my eyes, the "kindness" that I thought I have, has it limitations. Imagine I see an old man selling tissue packets for a dollar and I only have $3 which is just enough for a cheese prata. I would hesitate to buy those tissues for a moment. But of course in the end, the selfless side of me would win. Hmmm maybe I might feel too embarassed to myself, if not to the people who were surrounding me, to not buy them. And this is what I'm talking about. I did a good thing there, but for a moment I was thinking "I should not have bought these stupid tissue packets, now I can't eat cheese prata!" But I still did a good thing, didn't I?
So what does that make me?

Too Much Money

I went home and realized that I have too much stuff. Stuff, stuff, stuff, all over my room. And I suddenly started to feel like the stuff was holding me back.

Too much money on too much stuff that I really barely ever use. Cause I'm never home -- chilling out on weekdays and work filled my weekends. I know lots of people say they are never home, but seriously, once someone asked me if I'd been away for the past days. I hadn't. I'm just either at home or outside.

Which brings me back to the point. What I don't need:

1) Magazines are never my weakness. But seriously? I think I have a few magazines on the desk which I haven't read. Until then, I don't think I need more magazines.

2) Clothes. Perhaps, I would be lying if I say I don't care that much about my appearance in most days. For the days I do care, I have ample cute clothes. Really. MORE than enough.

So I think next time I get in a spendy mood, instead of buying something new, I am going to try and distract myself with an unread magazine, a piece of clothing I haven't worn in a month, or a still-in-it's-package baking tin. Hah! What was I thinking?

Oh well...

My Dirty Little Secret

I'm sick of the whole "honesty is the best policy" song-and-dance that people do. We all say we like being honest, but we're not. And aside from plain old lying, there will always be the things that we just won't ever tell people. But what if we are all totally honest, with each other and ourselves?

What would happen if all of our flaws, our embarrassing moments, our dirty little secrets came to light? Maybe we'd be free of ourselves. Maybe we should all try it and see what happens.

What's my dirty little secret?

1) I love shamelessly sappy music from the 90s.

2) Sometimes, when I'm by myself, I strike poses in front
of the mirror.

3) Whenever I'm waiting for the bus alone, I start singing really
loudly to my phone's mp3. Sometimes I forget to stop singing when
I get on the bus.

4) I tell everyone I hate the idea of marriage. But really, I want
the fairy tale, no.

5) People think I'm a hard worker, but I always wait until
the last minute. I just bullsh*t well.

6) I hate it when my friends flirt to get their way. Secretly, I
wish I had the moxie to flirt like that.

7) I try to sound like the voice of reason. But I'm just a
wussy lump of emotions inside.

8) For all the loner bullshit I try to pull, I need people to need
me. I really need them to need me.

9) Sometimes I feel really sorry for myself.

10) I like feeling sorry for myself.

11) I resent a lot of my friends, especially when I try to give
them my all and don't get much in return.

12) Even though I've taken control of my temper these days, I
still throw hissy fits when I'm in my room by myself. I throw
pillows. I screech. I sob.

13) You'd never be able to tell, but I'm actually very boycrazy.
Or at least I feel like I am.

14) I'm narcissistic and really concerned about the way I groom. I even had laser treatment and Microdermabrasion (facial) once every week.

15) I hate myself for caring about those things. Really hate myself for it.

I lie a lot. Mostly to myself. And sometimes to you.

I'm staring at the monitor. Wondering what I should type, and how I'm going to start with it. I guess there's not much need for that now since I have gone on with this. So what now? I have no single plan nor any idea - how I'm going to spend this few days of "doing nothing". Shitloads!!!

Even though I want to blog everyday, I still couldn't bring myself to do it although I did blog yesterday. I am so over that stage where I blog about daily events and ramblings. There's this part of my subconscious that says it's so cliche and I should not do it anymore. When I blog, it's because I'm sickeningly inspired or effingly bored or anything that's so extreme... if you know what I meant.

For the record, I don't consider my blog as a personal thing which in fact, I hate to keep things personal especially blog. Is there ever such thing in our modern world?! So yeah, if I ever do bore you - which I know I always will - well, get the hell out'a here! Ok, I didn't mean that in a negative way. I meant, dude, get a life. (okay, so that's still quite negative, but who freaking cares?)
