Singapore's Only Male Bitch
6/19/2007
Time
Okay, enough broadcasting how pathetic I am to the public cybersphere. Time spent being silly and emotional is time that could be better spent whining on my blog.
It's so peculiar to think about the whole concept of time. I mean, time is more or less an abitrary system that has no concrete material value, but it's the most important thing in the world. There's this game I like to play by myself, in my head, when I think back and imagine what I was doing exactly 24 hours ago. 24 hours ago I was just waking up, 24 hours ago I was fast asleep, 24 hours ago I was eating dinner. Then I compare it to whatever I'm doing right at this very moment. It's an odd game that amuses me for reasons beyond my comprehension. 24 hours ago, I was sipping a frapucinno, looking out over the nightime view of Singapore's skyline. Now I'm sitting here typing up this blog post, wearing a singlet. And what difference does it make? All the difference in the world. At 2am tonight I'll be asleep, hopefully dreaming peacefully. Though I must say, it's nice to find out tomorrow isn't as bad as you thought it was going to be. Interesting no, |
