'NO' To Anorexic Cunts
Yay for Prada! In the world of freakishly-thin models (heck, there's even a Halloween costume for it!) Prada, one of the greatest and most influential fashion houses in the world, has made a bold move: Miuccia Prada chose a curvier mannequin to showcase a new sweater on the runway in Milan and a curvier model to actually strut the runway during a recent show.
It's pretty sad when one mannequin and one model are such a big deal, but although it may be small it's a definite step in the right direction. Anyway, I think more curvier and healthier models are totally needed in our fashion industry. They are more of the norm than the skinny models, of whom the average person in no way looks like. We have dealt a harsh blow to the more plus size person and we need to see the beauty in all shapes and sizes. I think that's fair. And I think its about time. I hope more designers follow in Prada's footsteps. Let's bring on the curvy ones! Well bitches, repeat after me: say NO to anorexic cunts. But then, there are some who thinks fat models are completely disgusting and ridiculous. I don't get this at all? Does this means, all fat people are disgusting in real life? Beside calling them names, they also didn't want to see a nasty ugly fat THING walk down anything, much less a runway. So, REAL models deserve respect for trying so hard to be the anorexic thin beautiful image of perfection? This woman deserves nothing but ridicule. |
