    HIV/Aids Awareness

Well I think it is true that here in Singapore, not most of us are aware of the possibilities of contracting HIV/Aids from unprotected sex or even sharing needles. Needless to say, a number of Singaporeans (teenagers in general) don't really seem to show much interest/be bothered by this. It's okay.

I'm writing this to help spread safe sex awareness for a number of individuals collectively who usually receive little attention in prevention initiatives. At the same time, do my part to ensure that youth are aware and further understand of the most widely spread fatal viral disease (that's HIV/Aids to you).

    You are young!
"I AM YOUNG, SO......... WHY NOT WE HELP SPREAD HIV/AIDS AWARENESS?"

This is for a good cause. =)

It's been 3 months since we celebrate the many lives saved by HIV prevention programs! But hey, the advocacy still continues. We all know awareness like this has become almost a cliche. Being cliche, however, isn't always a bad thing if you know what I mean. If we have the cure for HIV/Aids, of course there's no need for Aids prevention campaigns running here and there, hunnney. Looks like I have to do what I have to do as a blogger.

No, I'm not trying to interfere with what you do behind closed doors (trust me, I don't even care) but like any other people out there, I'm just being concerned with the public apathy towards this issue. So, I urge you (growing youth) to think twice before having unprotected sex. Use condoms. It's that simple.

(of course unprotected sex is not the only cause for HIV.)

Even if you are not in such a situation, you can still show a little bit of interest to the above virus. In this case, watch documentaries! Read plays about people diagnosed with HIV/Aids! I bet there are many wonderful plays hidden somewhere on youtube. Trust me, this is a good start in understanding more about the disease as mentioned.

On that note, all you need to have is a little preventative measure and increase vigilance against the HIV/Aids virus. And again, I urge all youth to hear me! You are young! I am young, so........ Why not we help spread HIV/Aids Awareness?
