And what is your father's greatest legacy to you?

Mine was when he and mom decided I was old enough to be sent out alone and be independent. I was 15 then, and it shaped the person that I am now.

15 years down the road I think sending me out to be independent and self-sufficient is the best ever gift I got from my parents.

It's like being sent to the army -- way a lot better!

So go take your Dads out for lunch or dinner and tell him just how much he means to you.
