    Good Leader, Meh?

    Headline of the day!

Dear citizens of Singapore, some of us are already going through hardships at the start of the new year! How bloody sway is that? Blame the recession for not allowing us to spend more (nothing unusual). Blame it like you always do. So what are you going to do next? Kneel on the streets and cry?

DAMN STRAIT TIMES! HAVE NO OTHER THINGS TO REPORT ON IS IT FOR LIFE! SECTION?

Recently, our Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources penned a disgusting article for the Straits Times Life! section and somehow, he bragged (more like self-glorification to us) right in the face of a country which is already in recession about his thousands over dollars 5 weeks cooking course (@ the Famous Le Cordon Bleu in Paris). Like WOW!

"Mat rep says: Sia la, mahal nak mampos."
"Ah Beng says: Ta Ma De. Sibei Gao Jia"
"Desmond Charles says: Baek uh, DOK"

What do you want me to do about it? Of course I'm going to bitch.
    HOW INSENSITIVE IS THAT???
    Please explain!

Thousand over #%&$*# donald dollars on cooking course in Paris some more, eh?

    1) He could have spent the money here and jolly well support our OWN economy!

    2) He could have donated part of his money to some charities if he thinks he's RICH!

    3) He could have been a little bit more humble!

So, I assume he (along with his family) now knows how to skin off the chix, then eat with a knife and fork after that long week cooking vacation. We would like to know?

(As the rich ones always do have a maid to depend on! So they are abit stupid when it comes to kitchen/utensils/cooking and worse, switch on the stove.. Hahaha. No pun intended)

Here we are working so hard like an idiot rat and there you are flaunting your wealth to us -- generally the commoners! We are not Westerns for everyone's information. This is Singapore, mind you! Have some respect and be a little bit more sensitive for he, is some Perm Secretary to start with..

Can anyone tell me what can a thousand over dollars cooking course (Emphasise abit more) do for the environment and water???
