After years of delays, R. Kelly's child-pornography case will finally commence on May 9 ya'll. The trial was postponed as scheduled because the lead prosecutor had recently given birth.

The Kelly case has dragged on for five years without a trial and originated with 14 counts of child pornography filed against him in 2002 for allegedly videotaping himself having sex with an allegedly underage girl. Kelly who is 40, has pleaded not guilty to the charges and faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted. Cool shit, no?
